ABOUT

Michelle Kralj, P.T. &
Early Childhood Development Expert
I am a pediatric physical therapist in Boulder County, Colorado. I specialize in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from birth to five years of age. I received my doctoral degree in physical therapy from Simmons College in 2010. I have a masters degree in child development from the University of Minnesota and a bachelors degree in biology and psychology from Union College. I have worked almost exclusively in early intervention (birth to three) since receiving my degree.

I have experience working with infants and children with a wide range of diagnosis including delays in motor milestones, low muscle tone, torticollis, congenital disorders, premature birth, cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions, intrauterine stroke, spina bifida, and orthopedic issues.

I have a strong belief in treating children holistically. My background in child development allows me to approach therapy with an understanding of the whole child. I believe that the best way to approach therapy is to empower parents and caregivers to help their child reach their full potential.

I spend my time outside of work running after my own three young children and our dog, hiking, running, biking, exploring, and enjoying everything that Colorado has to offer!

TESTIMONIALS
We are so grateful that Michelle was a part of our daughters walking and strength journey. She brought a calm optimism to our situation that was so appreciated. She is fun, resourceful and inventive and worked with our daughter in a way that worked for HER, which was key. When I see my daughter hit new milestones and react with confidence and pride, I know part of that was due to how Michelle would celebrate her hard work and progress as well. I highly recommend Michelle Kralj!

"Michelle began working with my daughter, M, when she was 5 months old. Michelle quickly identified areas we needed to work on and came up with a plan of action. She incorporated therapy into play so my baby had no idea she was being made to work out! Michelle brought interactive and relevant toys and gave us homework. Each visit was followed by an email with new skills that my baby had picked up, what Michelle worked on with her and what our goals and homework were. We noticed so much improvement in the year that Michelle worked with our daughter. Michelle also made it a point to teach us how to do what she was doing so that we could continue therapy on days we didn't have a session. In addition to being a great physical therapist, Michelle is also the kindest and warmest soul and a true pleasure to be around".
